Artwork created as the back drop for Photos Ala Chair 31 in Kuwait City
This piece is part of the artist’s ongoing research into Kuwait’s modern built environment, with a focus on the Blockat district and home to the city’s largest textile market. The work features architectural elements extracted from Block 5, block-printed onto fabric sourced directly from the building. The prints are arranged in shifting pattern compositions, reflecting the layered ceiling beams and storefronts.
